What is Alignment?
To be in alignment is to be in the space of all that is light, love and balanced. The space where all things are in harmony with life. Clarity of thought and mind are united with the highest essence of who I am. For So long I identified the self by outside influences. Parents, society, religion, education, social constructs and agreements made by and for people with limited perspectives and consciousness that stayed scattered in my feeble attempts to get outside validation I felt I desperately needed. This seeking outside of self to fill self was never fulfilling and always left me lost, confused, inadequate, shameful, the victim and the marty.
The Origins of Being Conditioned
outside of Alignment
Go into any kindergarten class and ask the boys who the fastest runner is. Watch as they all fight to say they are. They each feel the fastest, bravest and strongest. Now go back into the same class when they are in the 3rd grade and ask the same question. They will know which boy is the fastest, their rank order and abilities are classified, and they know their place, They have been hooked by conditioning and domestication to know their limitations. Fear and frustration run the lives of many children today. They are thrown into such a fast paced world where there are rules, expectations, demands, boxes and checklist. Shoulds and should not rule their decisions. They are now seeking outside of self for validation, acceptance and approval. Around ages 7-8 is when the child is thrown outside of alignment.
Alignment
The Journey Back To Self
The journey now begins with a question. Do you want to continue this life outside of alignment or inside alignment? Outside will be what we will call hell. Living in discord, dis-ease, misaligned. In alignment we can create heaven. Ease, balance, harmony, acceptance of what is and accordance to one’s self is not forgotten.
The journey or return to self is one that will not be easy and is most often initiated by a painful event catapulting us into a dark tunnel or space in our life. Why would we ever be motivated to do this work of waking up and returning to our flow or most natural state of being? if we had been handed lollipops, rainbows and everything perfect there would be no wake up call. It is through the shattered disillusionment, the rejection, fear, and abandonment that we are sent spiraled to the question Who am I?
Personal Journey Into Alignment
When I started out on this road I was asked much like I ask my clients if they are willing to go into the library of their mind. To not judge or shame themselves. Together we will look at the books, the self statements, conditioned beliefs and take an honest inventory. To see where fear, anger, victimhood, self doubt, perfectionism, etc are collecting and gaining speed. What split personalities or pseudo selves are in control? Can you allow yourself the gift of objectively looking at yourself? Can you own the entirety of what you perceive as good and bad?
