Teen Help
Teen Help and reasons teenagers will go to see a therapists: When teenagers go through a rough patch such as peer problems, family issues, etc they often feel supported when they can see a person outside of their system listen. Someone who is not there to tell them what they should do, say, how to act and respond. Even if the parents intentions are good, teens are not easily able to take the advice of their parents. This age group is striving for autonomy and independence. There are feelings of sadness, anger, helplessness, and frustration. They need to sort their problems out and have someone who can look outside of their blinders to see what they may not be seeing.
