Anxiety help and freeing yourself from fear. If you came to therapy for anxiety, depression, anger, etc, I would say that is not the real issue at hand. When we get a cold we have symptoms. The cough, runny nose and congestion are all signs of the infection or cold. In this case the cold is fear. Many refer to fear as False Evidence Appearing Real.
This is the exaggeration of worry and expectation of negative outcome. Future tripping I like to call it. It is human nature to fear what we do not know. Our mind does not even know if we are awake or dreaming. Yet we constantly allow ourselves to be mind controlled. The mind constantly is pulling from the past, predicting the future and dumping in the present moment.
Do past events have any indicator as to what will or might happen in the future? No! It was a space time event that happened. Yet fear and anxiety says that surely because an event happened it must mean it will happen again in the future. Before we know it, we are experiencing it all over again. That is basic Law of Attraction.

Knowing Truth From Falsehood
We have all experienced feelings shift from one minute to the next. We see a baby and get a feeling of love. Suddenly we get a call from the IRS, we become enraged when they tell you that you owe money. In a split second we go from anger to rage to bliss to frustration. If I were you I would not count on these feelings to guide us. They tend to be the swinging monkey that goes all over the place. They create anxiety and fear as a running script in out mind. We are living in a nightmare.
Present moment always is perfectly perfect. The present moment, the now, has no fear, no feeling. It just is. It is a quite place that when the mind stops its chattering allows us to be with our true self. The infinite love and light we are all meant to experience.

It is time you did the work of identifying that you are not your thoughts. Don’t allow yourself to get caught in the spiderweb of your mind. In therapy utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative therapy can be extremely useful. You are able to have a therapist help look outside of the blinders we all wear and bring awareness into the picture.
Learn to let go of anxiety and fear. There is no place for it in your life. Live a life in the present moment which is full of love, peace and acceptance.
